Overview
DevOps is a new speciality that combines software development methodologies and cultural practices to deliver and support business applications at a higher speed and quality. DevOps implementation has become an integral part of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) as it can eliminate the barriers of collaboration between developers and operations team through process automation.
DevOps enables automated deployment and testing in the SDLC with continuous delivery and continuous integrations. There are many new tools and frameworks that are part of the DevOps arsenal.
